After several weeks of international games on Sunday morning and Monday Night Football doubleheaders, Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season is a bit more traditional, with just three nationally televised games.
The first primetime game in Week 9 featured the Miami Dolphins hosting the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football. The Ravens defeated the Dolphins 28-6, with Lamar Jackson returning from a hamstring injury and throwing four touchdown passes, three to tight ends, including two to Mark Andrews.
Miami outgained Baltimore in the first half but squandered opportunities with turnovers, penalties, and a missed field goal. The Dolphins managed only two field goals, while Jackson’s efficient play built an insurmountable lead for Baltimore.
For Sunday Night Football, the Seattle Seahawks will travel to face the Washington Commanders. Finally, there’s only one Monday Night Football contest this week: the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Arizona Cardinals.
While last week featured a whopping six teams on bye, there are only four teams with a bye in Week 9: the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Looking at the NFL coverage map, let’s see which games will be broadcast in different areas of the country in Week 9.
