But in the final week, two playoff spots still remain up for grabs. After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers all lost, two key matchups are going to decide the divisions in both conferences.

The Buccaneers will face the Panthers for the NFC South title, while the Steelers must battle it out with the Ravens to win the AFC North. But those aren’t the only key matchups still remaining.
The most competitive division in the NFL this year, the NFC West, which features three teams with 11 or more wins, remains up for grabs, with multiple potential avenues to secure a winner. Moreover, the one-seed is still undecided in both conferences, with several teams vying for the key Wild Card Round bye week.
What we already knew before the schedule release was that the league would schedule two games for Saturday (Jan. 3), plus a Sunday Night Football matchup (Jan. 4) for the final week of the regular season.
