Odell Beckham Jr.’s career has been one to monitor ever since his days at LSU. A spectacular run at the program saw him solidify himself as a first-round pick, and he was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Instantly impactful, he earned three Pro Bowl selections and two All-Pro nods in his career, with three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career.
He looked to be on pace for a fourth consecutive season before a fracture in his left ankle derailed his momentum. When he returned the following year, he was just as dynamic with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. However, a torn ACL in his seventh season in the league was the beginning of the end for Beckham, as he’s lived on short stints since then. A legendary dual-threat quarterback now believes it is time for OBJ to return.
Could Odell Beckham Jr. Make Another NFL Return?
The start of a new era for the New York Giants was going about as well as anticipated. A rushing touchdown by new potential franchise quarterback Jaxson Dart, and a dominant first half seemed to be turning the tide in their favor.
Unfortunately, the goodwill lasted less than one full half of football. Arguably the best player on the team, superstar wide receiver Malik Nabers, went down with a brutal non-contact injury that many fear could be a torn ACL.
It has instantly dampened the situation and any hopes New York fans may have pinned to their new-look roster. In his absence, the Giants will have a glaring hole at the wide receiver spot.
Especially important with a rookie quarterback at the helm, Robert Griffin III believes that role could be filled by OBJ. Taking to X, the former Washington Redskins superstar wrote, “The New York Giants should sign Odell Beckham Jr after Malik Nabers injury. Bring him home.”

Beckham spent the first five years of his career with the Giants before he was traded to the Cleveland Browns before the start of the 2019 season. Since then, he’s been on four teams, with no stint lasting long.
A return to New York as a mentor to the new era could be the perfect send-off for one of the most elite talents in the game, putting a bow on his incredible career, which included a Super Bowl championship.
