James is now averaging 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7.2 assists per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field and 29.3% from three-point range in nine games.
He is in his 23rd NBA season (and eighth with the Lakers).

The Lakers are off to an excellent start to the 2025-26 season with an 18-7 record in 25 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games (and are 11-3 in 14 games on the road).
Following the Suns, the Lakers will play their next game on Thursday night when they visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

As for the Suns, they are now 14-12 in 26 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and 8-5 in 13 games at home).
Following the Lakers, the Suns will play their next game on Thursday night when they host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in Arizona.
James was the first pick in the 2003 NBA Draft out of high school.
The four-time NBA Champion has also spent time playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.
Despite turning 41 later this month, James still remains one of the best 25 players in the NBA.
