The Lakers lost by a score of 129-99.

Bronny James finished with eight points, two rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 3/3 from the field and 2/2 from three-point range in eight minutes of playing time.

He is in his second season after being selected with the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft out of USC.

With their loss to the Cavs, the Lakers dropped to 28-18 in 46 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 16-10 in the 26 games they have played on the road.

Following the Cavs, the Lakers will play their next game on Friday when they visit the Washington Wizards.

Via ESPN’s Dave McMenamin: “While this game stopped being competitive midway through the 3rd Q and LeBron James (11 pts on 3-for-10 shooting, 6 turnovers) didn’t have his best stuff, Bronny James is lighting up the crowd late in the 4th with a steal and dunk, followed by a 3.”

As for the Cavs, they improved to 29-20 in 49 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

Following the Lakers, the Cavs will visit the Phoenix Suns on Friday in Arizona.
