This group brings unmatched experience and insight to the network’s coverage, promising fans a top-tier viewing experience.

Who Is Michael Jordan?
Jordan, widely considered the greatest basketball player of all time, has joined NBC as a special contributor. He will have a halftime segment called “MJ: Insights Into Excellence” with Tirico at halftime of marquee games.
Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships, earning Finals MVP honors each time. A five-time NBA MVP, Jordan also racked up 14 All-Star selections, 10 All-NBA First Team nods, and nine NBA All-Defensive First Team honors. He led the league in scoring a record 10 times and holds the highest career scoring average in regular-season history at 30.1 points per game.
After retiring, Jordan moved into front-office roles. He was a minority owner and president of basketball operations for the Washington Wizards from 2000 to 2003, a tenure that included an unexpected return to the court. In 2010, he became the owner of the Charlotte Hornets, but he ultimately sold his majority stake in the team in 2023. Jordan Brand is still the most popular sneaker brand despite the fact that he hasn’t played in decades.
Who Is Carmelo Anthony?
Anthony, a 10-time All-Star and six-time All-NBA selection, joined NBC as a studio analyst. Known for his scoring ability, Anthony ranks 12th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 28,289 career points, highlighting his consistent offensive production over a 19-year career.
He also led Syracuse to an NCAA title in 2003 and captured three Olympic gold medals with Team USA. Anthony was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September 2025.

Who Is Tracy McGrady?
McGrady was a seven-time NBA All-Star, seven-time All-NBA selection, two-time NBA scoring champion, Most Improved Player, Mr. Basketball USA, and McDonald’s All-American.
He had a legendary NBA career that included stints with the Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, and San Antonio Spurs.
McGrady also won a gold medal at the FIBA Americas Championship in 2003. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017. McGrady has worked as a studio analyst for ESPN, so this stint with NBC isn’t his first foray into broadcasting. Now, he gets a chance to work his cousin, Carter, on NBC.
Who Is Vince Carter?
Carter, an eight-time NBA All-Star and the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year, is also part of NBC’s studio team. Known as “Vinsanity,” Carter thrilled fans with his iconic dunks and athleticism during his remarkable 22-year NBA career.
He’s the only player in league history to play in four different decades — the 1990s through the 2020s — showing elite longevity and adaptability. Carter scored 25,728 career points (No. 25 all-time) and made 2,290 three-pointers (10th all-time). He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2024.
Between the star-studded broadcasts and Roundball Rock, NBA fans are understandably excited about NBA on NBC’s return.
Who Is Jamal Crawford?
Crawford is most known for winning three NBA Sixth Man of the Year awards, but he was a fan favorite throughout his 20-year NBA career that included stints with the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, and Brooklyn Nets.
Crawford totaled 19,419 points throughout his NBA career, and he became known as one of the most electrifying ball-handlers in the league. On April 9, 2019, Crawford became the oldest player to score 50+ points in a game at age 39, achieving 51 points for the Phoenix Suns, and was the first player to record 50-point games with four different franchises.
Crawford is providing color commentary during games, unlike Jordan, Anthony, McGrady, and Carter, who are studio analysts.
Who Is Reggie Miller?
Like Crawford, Miller has joined NBC as a color commentator. During his playing days, Miller was a five-time NBA All-Star, three-time All-NBA selection, and one of the greatest shooters in league history.
He totaled 25,279 points (18.2 PPG) throughout his 18-year NBA career — all of which he played with the Indiana Pacers. Miller is the franchise’s all-time leader in points (25,279), three-pointers made (2,560), and free throw percentage (.888). He averaged 18.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game over 1,389 regular-season contests.
NBA fans are used to hearing Miller on broadcasts, as he is an experienced color commentator.
