The 2026 NBA Summer League is in the books, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in the championship game. As always, the action in Las Vegas featured plenty of talented youngsters representing their NBA franchises for the first time.
On Tuesday afternoon, the NBA announced its All-Summer League teams, which are voted on by all 30 NBA teams, and a number of notable rookies earned a spot.
2026 NBA All-Summer League First Team and Second Team Announced on Tuesday
Only performances at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas counted towards these honors. Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg earned the top honor as he was named Most Valuable Player of the 2026 Summer League.
Lendeborg, the No. 11 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, averaged 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in six appearances while leading the Warriors to the NBA Summer League title.
In addition to winning MVP honors, Lendeborg also headlined the All-Summer League First Team alongside Cameron Boozer (Memphis Grizzlies, No. 3 pick), Brayden Burries (Milwaukee Bucks, No. 10 pick), Meleek Thomas (Cleveland Cavaliers, No. 34 pick), and Caleb Wilson (Chicago Bulls, No. 4 pick).

Boozer averaged 18.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game for the Grizzlies, while leading Memphis to the championship game. Wilson also impressed, averaging 23.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game for the Bulls.
Burries made a big splash in Las Vegas as well, averaging 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game for the Bucks. Meanwhile, Thomas looked like a potential steal, as the second-round pick averaged 27.3 points per game in four appearances to lead all players in scoring.

The All-Summer League second team featured Cedric Coward (Memphis Grizzlies), Egor DÑ‘min (Brooklyn Nets), Khaman Maluach (Phoenix Suns), Liam McNeeley (Charlotte Hornets), and Zyon Pullin (Minnesota Timberwolves).
The Grizzlies have to feel good about the one-two punch of young cornerstones Coward and Boozer as they enter their rebuild.
It’s worth noting that the top two draft picks, AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson, failed to make the cut for the All-Summer League first and second teams. However, Dybantsa played just two games for the Washington Wizards while Peterson played just three games for the Utah Jazz before they were ultimately shut down.
