MVP frontrunner Drake Maye has had an unbelievable season for the New England Patriots. In just his second year in the league, Maye is set to play in the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks, an outcome few could have imagined when the season began.
Maye’s breakout 2025 campaign has also brought unexpected attention off the field, with his wife, Ann Michael, quickly becoming a fan favorite thanks to her viral TikTok baking videos. As Super Bowl week officially kicked off Monday night in Santa Clara, Maye couldn’t help but gush about her when asked to rank her favorite treats.

Maye and Ann Michael have been together since they were just 12 years old and tied the knot last summer. As Maye’s football career has taken off, Ann Michael has found her own spotlight off the field, winning fans over with her baking skills and viral social media presence.

Speaking with reporters Monday night ahead of Super Bowl 60, Maye was asked to rank his wife’s favorite baked goods, and named the Cinnamon roll snickerdoodle as his favorite.
“Cinnamon roll snickerdoodle, she just made those for the linemen this week, that’s my No. 1,” Maye said. “I’ll put Puppy chow, that’s No. 3. Pistachio bread, I think it’s good, I’m not a fan, and the crumble copycat … I’ll put that at 2.”
Maye further revealed that Ann Michael “makes something special everyday” before sharing a heartfelt message for her.
“Just keep being you,” Maye added. “You’re the better half of me. I love you, keep being you. It’s a special moment for me to follow your journey. Just keep going. I know that you do it for something other than yourself, and that’s what makes it special.”
“What a blessing it’s been to have Ann Michael,” he later added. “Just knowing there’s a constant in my life and that’s my wife.”
Ann Michael’s popularity surged during the holiday season with her “Bakemas” video series, which went viral on TikTok and helped her amass more than 514,000 followers. The momentum carried into 2026, when she announced a new NBC Sports show, “Beyond Bakemas,” a development Maye has proudly supported.
On the field, the 23-year-old quarterback has been just as impressive. Maye led the Patriots back to prominence with a stellar regular season, throwing for 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns, and just eight interceptions, flipping New England’s record from 4–13 last year to 14–3.
New England has carried that momentum into the postseason and now has a chance to make history Sunday, as it looks to capture a record seventh Super Bowl title and its first since 2019.
