After suffering their first loss of the regular season in Week 7, the Minnesota Vikings will look to bounce back against the struggling Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football. While the Vikings remain among the top teams in the NFC at 5-1, the Rams have dealt with an abundance of injuries and are currently 2-4.
Despite trade rumors swirling around the Rams following their slow start, the Rams could remain in the playoff hunt with a win over the Vikings. Meanwhile, Minnesota is trying to keep pace with the Detroit Lions after their division rival handed the Vikings their first loss of the regular season last week.
It’s time to examine who will be inactive for tonight’s matchup between the Vikings vs. Rams and what the projected starting lineups will look like.

Latest Rams and Vikings Injury Report Updates
Blake Cashman has been ruled out for the Vikings due to a toe injury. Akayleb Evans, T.J. Hockenson, and Dalton Risner are listed as questionable on Minnesota’s final injury report. Both Hockenson and Risner remain on injured reserve and will need to be activated to play in Week 8.
Jordan Whittington, Troy Reeder, and Joe Noteboom have been ruled out for the Rams. Yet, Los Angeles could welcome back two key pieces to the team’s offense on Thursday night.
I just asked Rams WR Puka Nacua if we could see him return to play this Thursday against the Vikings.

Cooper Kupp is expected to return for the Rams in Week 8. He participated fully in practice during the week and didn’t have a game status on the team’s final injury report.
Puka Nacua was limited in practice this week and is listed as questionable due to a knee injury, although he recently mentioned that he is taking the process “one day at a time” and didn’t dismiss the idea of possibly playing on Thursday night.
