Green Bay Packers star defensive end Micah Parsons went down with a non-contact injury to his left knee on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
Parsons was trying to get to Broncos quarterback Bo Nix when he planted his left leg and immediately came up hobbling before falling to the turf. For anyone who has followed Parsons’ career, they know how important he’s been to a team’s defense, especially during his time with the Dallas Cowboys.
What Did Packers DE Micah Parsons’ Brother Say?
While watching the Packers-Broncos game on TV, Parsons’ brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., headed out to X and shared his thoughts on what happened.
Parsons Jr. wrote, “Mannn my heart in my stomach rn”.

After Sunday’s game ended, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter posted an update on X regarding Parsons’ injury. “The initial belief is that Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons suffered a torn ACL today, as @ProFootballTalk reported,” Schefter wrote. “There will be further testing to see if that is the case.”

When Parsons came over to Green Bay, he chose No. 1 as his uniform number. This season, he’s been on a mission to show that he’s one of the best defensive ends in the NFL. Entering Sunday’s road game, Parsons had 18 solo tackles and 12.5 sacks, tied for third in the league.
Parsons was a first-round draft choice (No. 12 overall) by the Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Penn State. Parsons played his first four seasons for the Cowboys, totaling 13, 13.5, 14, and 12 sacks in those seasons.
But the Packers needed some help along the defensive front, and Parsons has delivered every time he’s been on the field. With Parsons potentially out for a little bit of time, Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur will have to make some adjustments.
Of course, Parsons’ brother and many NFL fans will be looking to see how badly Micah Parsons was injured and if he will be lost for a period of time right now. Late in the fourth quarter, the 9-3-1 Packers are losing to the Broncos 34-26. Green Bay will do its best to rally a comeback.
