The college basketball transfer portal closed on April 21, which simply means players can no longer enter the portal. However, there are still a number of talented players in the portal who have yet to commit to a school. Here are a handful of studs who are still in the portal as college basketball coaches fight over the top remaining players.
Ranking the Top Players Available in the College Basketball Transfer Portal
1) Milan Momcilovic, Iowa State
Iowa State star forward Milan Momcilovic entered the NBA Draft and the transfer portal. He is projected as a second-round pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, but he received an invite to the NBA Draft Combine and is hoping that a strong pre-draft process can improve his stock.
He has until May 27 to withdraw from the draft and return to college. The 6’8″ forward was widely regarded as the best shooter in college basketball last season, averaging 16.9 points and 3.7 3s on 50.6% from the field and 48.7% from deep to go along with 3.1 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 0.8 steals per game. He ranked fifth in the country in total 3-pointers made and first in 3-point shooting percentage.
If he opts to return to college, Duke, Kentucky, Florida and Kansas are reportedly in the mix for his services, as a return to Iowa State seems unlikely.
2) Juke Harris, Wake Forest
One of the nation’s elite scorers from this past season, Juke Harris broke out in a big way, and he’s now looking to capitalize on his NIL value and development to attend a better school and set himself up for greater success.
He jumped from averaging 6.1 points as a freshman to averaging 21.4 as a sophomore, ranking in the top-20 nationally in that category. His size at 6’7 and 200 pounds shows he’s maturing into his frame and offers some position versatility as a 2-guard or possibly even at the 3.
Michigan is reportedly out of the running for Harris, with the latest rumblings linking him to Tennessee.
3) Allen Graves, Santa Clara
Allen Graves entered the transfer portal and declared for the 2026 NBA Draft after a breakout freshman season with the Santa Clara Broncos.
Graves was one of the standout players for the Broncos, who nearly pulled off a stunning upset against Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. He contributed 17 points and 7 rebounds in the overtime loss, and he averaged 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.9 steals, and 1.8 assists on 51.2/41.3/75.0 shooting splits last season.
Like Momcilovic, Graves earned an invite to the NBA Draft Combine and his future likely comes down to what his draft stock is looking like by late May. Graves is starting to be viewed as a late first-round pick, so it’s possible he will stay in the draft. If he ultimately decides to return to college, Duke and LSU have been linked to the sharpshooter.
