The Notre Dame men’s basketball team, led by coach Micah Shrewsberry, is determined to end a four-year NCAA Tournament drought (three under Shrewsberry and one under former coach Mike Brey).
Following these ongoing struggles, the Fighting Irish faced a tough schedule last season, finishing tied for 16th in the ACC at 4-14 and 13-18 overall. As a result, the 49-year-old now faces mounting pressure, with a 41-56 record over three seasons at Notre Dame. He can’t afford another misstep, as his tenure as head coach hangs in the balance.
