After ending a 37-year drought and winning the NCAA Tournament, Michigan will have its sights set on another deep March Madness run next year. Dusty May already has a strong roster at his disposal, bolstered by the addition of JP Estrella from the transfer portal.
Who are some other high-profile names Michigan should target before the transfer portal closes?
Juke Harris
After a standout sophomore year with Wake Forest, Juke Harris is attracting plenty of interest in the transfer portal. UNC, Tennessee, and Michigan are among the teams reportedly battling for the combo guard. The Wolverines will hope to bolster their guard and wing positions this offseason, and at 6-foot-7, Harris is capable of playing both roles.
Harris averaged 21.4 points on 44.4% shooting and 33.2% from 3-point range. He also averaged 6.5 rebounds per game for the Demon Deacons.
An elite scorer with versatility and the ability to take on multiple different roles, Harris is ready to step up and be a leading player for a contender next season, and Michigan could be the perfect destination for him to do exactly that.
Eric Reibe
If Aday Mara decides to enter the NBA Draft, Michigan should consider replacing him with another exciting European prospect. Eric Reibe has entered the transfer portal and will be leaving UConn after a freshman year in which he averaged 5.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per game.

The 7-foot-1 center has a strong post game and the attributes to develop into a special player under the right coach. He is a versatile big with nimble movement and passing skills, along with his 30.8% 3-point shooting.
Reibe could well have his breakout season next year, and Michigan head coach May is someone who could get the best out of him.
Andrew McKeever
Another center who could bolster the Michigan frontcourt and provide some much-needed depth next season is Andrew McKeever. After two seasons with Saint Mary’s, the 7-foot-3 center is ready to take the next step in his career.
McKeever is attracting interest from Iowa, but Michigan should consider making a move for him. While he is not yet the finished article by any means, May would have plenty to work with, as McKeever averaged 9.2 rebounds and 8.2 points in 23 minutes per game this season.
Despite his size, McKeever also has a strong passing range and showed glimpses of his potential during his redshirt sophomore year with Saint Mary’s. McKeever still has to prove he can handle the jump in competition. But like Reibe, McKeever is a player who could thrive under the guidance of May at a team like Michigan.
