Meleek Thomas ‘Loves’ AJ Dybantsa Style

The BYU commit recently posted a video on his Instagram account, which has over 546,000 followers, showing a training session. In the video, he can be seen practicing perimeter shots, as well as driving to the rim from various positions.

The post has received tens of thousands of reactions, including a comment from Meleek Thomas, another top prospect set to join college basketball next season, playing for Arkansas:

“Love ya swag 3,” Thomas said.

We’re talking about two potential superstars here. Meleek Thomas is the kind of player who makes defenders question their life choices. The 6’4″ shooting guard has been lighting up the court, earning a reputation as one of the top prospects in the 2025 class.

After dominating at Lincoln Park Performing Arts, where he averaged 23.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game, Thomas took his talents to Overtime Elite’s City Reapers.

His game? Pure electricity. He can score from anywhere, has a tight handle, and makes clutch plays when it matters most. His decision to commit to Arkansas over offers from Pittsburgh and UConn only adds to the excitement for the Razorback faithful.

AJ Dybantsa, for his part, is the classic basketball prodigy. At 6’9″, with a wingspan that seems to stretch across half the court, he’s been dominating the high school scene and is now set to take over college basketball at BYU.

Dybantsa’s game is nightmare for opponents because of its combination of smooth scoring, elite athleticism, and defensive versatility. He led Utah Prep to a stellar season before committing to Kevin Young’s BYU squad.

AJ is expected to be the centerpiece of Young’s offense. After all, he looks like a perfect fit for the BYU head coach’s scheme, which emphasizes spacing, versatility, and NBA-style concepts.

Young has implemented a four-point line in practice to encourage deep shooting and floor spacing. Dybantsa thrives in this system with his ability to score from anywhere, handle the ball, and attack mismatches.

His NIL valuation is estimated somewhere between $4 million and $7 million, proving he’s not just a star on the court but a marketing powerhouse off it. With NBA scouts drooling over his potential, Dybantsa is widely projected as a top pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

In short, Dybantsa and Thomes aren’t just playing basketball; they appear to be rewriting the script for future stars.
