After all the wild action from the 2026 NCAA Men’s Tournament’s Elite Eight contests, Arizona, Michigan, UConn, and Illinois are all headed to the Final Four.
Of course, these four teams hope to enter next weekend’s crucial contests with little to no health concerns. What, though, is the injury situation right now?
Current Injury Updates for the 2026 Final Four Teams
Arizona Wildcats Injury Report
- Bryce James, out-redshirt
Back in 2025, James, who is a 6-foot-5 guard, committed to the Wildcats. He, though, took his role and long-term development under advisement.
After doing so, James, whose father is Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and his brother is Bronny James, decided to redshirt in the 2025-26 season. James still has a year of eligibility left. He, though, has spent time close to the program while not playing in any games.
Koa Peat had been dealing with an injury in February, but he’s back at full strength.
Illinois Fighting Illini Injury Report
- Toni Bilic, out for development
- Ty Rodgers, torn patellar tendon
- Jason Jakstys, blood clot
Rodgers suffered a torn patellar tendon while playing a pickup game, and he’s been out all season long. Jakstys has been dealing with a blood clot in his shoulder, which has kept him out of action.
Rodgers and Jakstys are out of the Final Four. Bilic signed with Illinois midseason, but he’s been sitting out to focus on development.
Michigan Wolverines Injury Report
- L.J. Cason, out-knee
- Winters Grady, out-fractured foot
- Ricky Liburd, out-redshirt
Cason suffered a torn ACL in February and was lost for the rest of the season. Cason, a 6-foot-2 sophomore, had been a solid presence off the bench for the Wolverines. When he was lost for the season, Cason was averaging 8.4 points and 2.4 assists per game.
Grady, a freshman, only played 9 games this season for the Wolverines and has been dealing with a fractured foot. He has indicated that he would take a redshirt season after missing most of the 2025-26 college basketball season.
Liburd, a guard, has taken a redshirt for the 2025-26 season, and that’s why he is not playing for the Wolverines right now.
UConn Huskies Injury Report
- No injuries to report at this time
Jaylin Stewart, who missed time due to a knee injury, and Silas Demary Jr. returned for the Huskies. Both players missed time for the Huskies previously, but now they are off the injury report for the Final Four.
Demary had been dealing with a Grade 2 ankle sprain, but he returned to the court against UCLA in the second round. UConn appears to have a healthy team going into the Final Four later this week.
When will these four teams hit the court at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the Final Four? UConn, coming off of Braylon Mullins’ incredible game-winning 3-pointer against Duke, faces Illinois at 6:09 p.m. ET.
In a battle of No. 1 seeds, Michigan dukes it out with Arizona. Tip-off time for that one is 8:49 p.m. ET.
All Final Four games will be televised by TBS, TNT, and truTV. Monday’s NCAA Men’s Tournament title game also will air on TBS, TNT, and truTV with a tip-off time of 8:50 p.m. ET.
