Indiana Basketball Transfer Portal News: Complete List of Players Leaving and Joining Darian DeVries’ Hoosiers

With most Darian DeVries' players set to leave the squad, here's a look at the Indiana Hoosiers' transfer portal additions and departures.

Indiana, under head coach Darian DeVries, missed the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive year, finishing 18-14 (9-11 in Big Ten play). The Hoosiers, listed as “First Four Out” by the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, declined invitations to the NIT and the College Basketball Crown.

With the transfer portal entry window closing on Tuesday, Indiana saw several players depart through the portal, while others exhausted their college eligibility (Tayton Conerway also entered the portal while seeking an additional year). Here’s the latest on Indiana’s additions and departures in the transfer portal.

Players Leaving in the Transfer Portal

Drake announced plans to enter the transfer portal on April 1, after a lower-body injury sidelined him for the 2025-26 season. He has not yet committed to a new school.

Miles, a transfer from North Florida, appeared in 26 games for Indiana, averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds. He announced plans to enter the portal on April 6 and has one year of eligibility remaining for the 2026-27 season.

Ristic entered the portal on April 7. The 6’3″ guard from Nis, Serbia, appeared in 12 games for the Hoosiers, averaging 0.5 points per game. He has not yet announced his commitment to another school.

Dorn, a 6’7″ guard from Charlotte, North Carolina, played in 30 games for Indiana, averaging 8.1 points and 2.3 rebounds. He entered the transfer portal on April 9 and has not yet announced his commitment.

Acimovic did not see any action for the Hoosiers this past season, despite his international experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 20-year-old, 6’10” center entered the transfer portal on April 13 and will be classified as a redshirt freshman once he commits to another team for the 2026-27 season.

Confirmed Departures

Harris, who announced plans to enter the transfer portal on April 6, found a new home on Thursday, committing to Florida Atlantic. The 6’8″ forward played for North Florida in the 2024-25 season, signed with Indiana, and missed the entire 2025-26 season due to an injury.

Wilkerson played 32 games in his only season with Indiana, averaging 20.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.0 steals. The 6’6″ Sam Houston State transfer shot 46.3% overall, including 37.8% from 3-point range, and made 88.8% of his free throws.

Tucker DeVries, the son of Indiana’s head coach, also suited up in 32 games for the Hoosiers, averaging 13.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.3 apg, and 1.1 spg. DeVries played for Drake and West Virginia before transferring to Indiana ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Enright averaged 4.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in his only season with Indiana. The 6’0″ guard had stints at Drake and DePaul before signing up for his senior season with the Hoosiers.

Alexis, who played for Florida during its 2025 national championship run, appeared in 32 games for the Hoosiers, averaging 8.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.

Bailey, a 6’11” Davidson transfer, averaged 8.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg, and 1.1 apg in 32 games for Indiana. He started 10 games for the Hoosiers this past season.

In Transfer Portal but Attempting To Secure an Additional Year

  • Tayton Conerway

Conerway, who entered the transfer portal on April 16, started in 19 of 29 games for Indiana after two seasons at Troy. The 6’3″ guard averaged 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.1 steals for the Hoosiers. He is seeking another season with a new team.

Indiana’s Incoming Players

  • Jaeden Mustaf – from Georgia Tech
  • Darren Harris – from Duke
  • Markus Burton – from Notre Dame
  • Samet YiÄŸitoÄŸlu – from SMU
  • Aiden Sherrell – from Alabama
  • Bryce Lindsay – from Villanova

Georgia Tech transfer wing Mustaf committed to Indiana on April 13, becoming the team’s first commit in the 2026 portal class. The 6’5″ Bowie, Maryland, native appeared in 29 games for the Yellow Jackets last season, averaging 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. Mustaf has two years of eligibility remaining.

Harris also committed to the Hoosiers on April 13, following two seasons at Duke. The 6’6″ guard appeared in 36 games for the Blue Devils this past season, averaging 3.3 points. He hopes to see more minutes with his new team after averaging just 9.7 minutes per game in Durham.

Indiana secured Burton’s commitment to bolster its backcourt offense. The 6’0″ guard played only 10 games last season for the Fighting Irish after a season-ending ankle injury requiring surgery. In 69 games for Notre Dame, he averaged 19.1 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 3.8 apg, and 1.8 spg.

The Mishawaka, Indiana, native has at least one year of eligibility remaining, but he can receive an additional year if he secures a medical hardship waiver before the 2026-27 season begins.

YiÄŸitoÄŸlu committed to Indiana on April 14, following two seasons at SMU. The 7’2″ center will have two years of eligibility remaining and is set to form a frontcourt partnership with Sherrell in the 2026-27 season. Last season, YiÄŸitoÄŸlu averaged 10.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game.

Sherrell, a 6’11” forward/center who played two seasons at Alabama, committed to Indiana on April 15. He broke out in his sophomore season with the Crimson Tide, averaging 11.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 2.2 blocks in 36 games (34 starts).

Lindsay announced his commitment to play for the Hoosiers on April 15, following a season with Villanova. The Baltimore, Maryland, native appeared in 33 games for the Wildcats, averaging 12.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.

Lindsay had previous stints at Texas A&M and James Madison, but Villanova listed him as a redshirt sophomore for the 2025-26 season. He is expected to play in his junior season at Indiana.

Returning Indiana Player

  • Trent Sisley

The incoming sophomore will play for another season with the Hoosiers after appearing in 30 games as a freshman. Sisley, a 6’8″ forward from Santa Claus, Indiana, averaged 4.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game last season. He posted a season-high 15 points in a 100-77 nonconference win over Marquette in November.

Incoming Freshmen

  • Prince-Alexander Moody

Karvala is a 6’7″ four-star wing from Bella Vista Prep and is ranked among the Top 60 in ESPN, 247 Sports, and Rivals prospect rankings. Before transferring to Bella Vista, he played for Oregon High School in Wisconsin, where he averaged 26.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game as a junior.

Manhertz signed up to play in Bloomington on April 15, adding another freshman forward to the Hoosiers, who is expected to strengthen the team’s offense next season. The 6’8″ four-star forward tallied 18.8 points per game as a senior at Christ School in the EYBL Scholastic League. He made a league-best 3.8 3-pointers per game and shot 42.0% from long range.

Moody, a 6’4″ combo guard from Bishop McNamara, signed with Indiana in November of last year. The four-star prospect can shoot from beyond the arc, having made 119 3-pointers in 85 high school games. Moody earned a 2025 All-WCAC Second Team selection after averaging 14.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
