Arizona Wildcats guard Jaden Bradley added his name to the litany of players who’ve drained buzzer-beating shots during March Madness.
Bradley’s jumper, literally at the buzzer, helped the No. 1-seeded Wildcats defeat the No. 5-seeded Iowa State Cyclones, 82-80, in a Big 12 Conference Tournament semifinal on Friday evening.
Bradley was in the right place, at the right time.
NCAA World Goes Wild Over Wildcats’ Jaden Bradley Winner
On the memorable play, Bradley had the ball at the top of the key, moved to his right, stutter-stepped, then moved a little more to the right before launching his jumper.
Mostly Hoops With Mark Titus & Co.’s account on X shared a courtside view of Bradley working his March Madness magic.

Bradley finished with 15 points for Arizona, but Anthony Dell’Orso came off the bench to top the Wildcats with 26 points in 29 minutes of action. Dell’Orso had a great game, but everyone was talking about Bradley.
Bleacher Report’s B/R Hoops’ account on X had another look at Bradley performing his late-game magic against the Cyclones. “JADEN BRADLEY. GAMETIME. Arizona beats Iowa State at the buzzer,” the account wrote.

“Arizona’s record against top-tier opponents remains insane.. also that’s why Jaden Bradley is Big 12 POTY. Those moments.. also HUGE shout to Dell’Orso for stepping up in big games,” Merrick wrote.

Jeff Goodman, basketball analyst and co-founder of the Field of 68, really was impressed by what he saw between both Arizona and Iowa State on Friday.
Goodman posted on X, “That was one of the best conference tournament games I’ve EVER seen. High, high level. Arizona wins 82-80 over Iowa State on the Jaden Bradley buzzer-beater. Dell’Orso and Kharchenkov were sensational, Momcilovic hit 8 ‘s for Iowa State. Bradley was the guy in crunch time. Again.”

Bradley and Arizona head coach Tommy May probably are still smiling about the star guard’s big shot. And, for one night in the Big 12 Tournament, Bradley really was Mr. Big Shot.
