Karter Knox and Nick Pringle Injury Updates for Arkansas vs. High Point

As for whether Arkansas head coach John Calipari is making plans to play Knox, that’s not going to happen. Knox had surgery on his left meniscus on Feb. 18, and he’s still recovering from that situation. So, Knox is out.

What about Pringle? He’s been dealing with an undisclosed injury, which prompted Calipari to list Pringle as questionable to play against High Point on Saturday. Pringle himself was asked on Friday whether he’d be able to take the court, though.

“I want to play. Bad. So, we’re going to try to work for that tomorrow night,” Pringle said. “I’m six out of 10 right now, probably of playing-wise. I’m not sure.

“I haven’t really talked to my trainer …,” Pringle continued. “We really haven’t seen today, but starting with early mornings, the last three days, late nights, these last three days, just trying to get me to my full 100% honestly, but I mean I’m feeling a lot better.”

When Calipari was asked about Pringle’s availability on Friday, he had a short answer: “I don’t know about Nick.” The Razorbacks come into Saturday’s second-round game with a 27-8 record, while the Panthers are currently 31-4 overall.

Arkansas defeated No. 13 seed Hawaii 97-78 in a first-round game, while High Point upset No. 5 seed Wisconsin 83-82. In the 2025-26 regular season, Pringle, a senior forward out of Seabrook, South Carolina, averaged 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Pringle also shot 72.0% from the floor.

The Arkansas-High Point game is scheduled to be shown on TBS and truTV.

High Point finished first in the Big South Conference standings. In the 2025-26 regular season, forward Terry Anderson led the Panthers in scoring (16.0 points) and rebounds (6.0) per game. Guard Rob Martin topped High Point in assists (3.7) and steals (1.6) per game.

Martin averaged 15.3 points per game, while teammate forward Cam’Ron Fletcher averaged 12.7 points per game. Anderson, Martin, and Fletcher are the only players on the Panthers’ roster to average in double-figure points.
