Mason Graham’s NFL Draft Scouting Report
Mason Graham is a well-built interior disruptor with outstanding first-step quickness and good overall athleticism. He lacks prototypical length for the position but makes up for it with quickness, power, and instincts. As a pass rusher, Graham displays elite explosiveness and penetration ability, stressing interior offensive linemen up gaps.
He can create angle advantages with his burst and agility, and then capitalize on mismatches with his violent torque and power output. Graham is a very loose mover for his size and shows outstanding body control and flexibility, and his low center of gravity infuses his leverage game in both phases. His middling length can cause him to lurch at times, but overall, he’s a phenomenal two-phase prospect with impact starter upside.

Mason Graham’s Latest NFL Draft Projection
PFSN’s Ian Cummings projected Graham to be drafted sixth in his most recent 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
Cumming said, “If the Jaguars pass on Graham, it creates a quandary for the Las Vegas Raiders, who have cause to take Jeanty, or a cornerback like Will Johnson or Jahdae Barron. Alongside Christian Wilkins, Las Vegas remains sparse on the interior. Graham can fix that.
“At 6’3 1/2″ and almost 300 pounds, Graham is well-leveraged and dense, with stellar burst, quickness, and torquing freedom for his frame. He’s a menace as a one-gapper and a consistently disruptive force in the passing game, and he completes a fearsome D-line.”

Where Does Mason Graham Rank Among 2025’s DT Prospects?
Here are the top 10 DT rankings for the 2025 NFL Draft, according to PFSN Draft Analyst Ian Cummings:
10. T.J. Sanders, South Carolina
9. Shemar Turner, Texas A&M
8. Darius Alexander, Toledo
7. CJ West, Indiana
6. Alfred Collins, Texas
5. Kenneth Grant, Michigan
4. Walter Nolen, Ole Miss
3. Derrick Harmon, Oregon
2. Tyleik Williams, Ohio State
1. Mason Graham, Michigan
The top-ranked DT prospect on PFN’s 2025 NFL Draft Board is Michigan’s Mason Graham. It’s one of the few positions where the top-ranked player hasn’t changed from the start of the cycle. Graham was a near blue-chip prospect coming in, and nothing changed in 2024.
Earning All-American honors with a 3.5-sack, 7-TFL campaign, Graham saved some of his best film for last. At 6’3 1/2″ and 306 pounds, he’s a dense, compact, well-leveraged lineman with elite explosiveness and lateral quickness, and devastating hand power.
With his strength and pop, Graham can anchor, stack, and shed in run defense, and he can also use his athleticism and torque output to wreak havoc as a pass-rusher. His 32″ arms aren’t the longest, but it’s not a limitation that’ll stop him from being a three-down force.
