EA Sports is bringing the heat again in 2025. Madden NFL 26 is officially on the calendar, and fans who’ve been hungry for the next installment of the franchise now have release dates, pre-order bonuses, and even a first look at what’s coming this year. From early access to new platform support, EA isn’t holding back.
The big question now: Is this just another Madden—or could this be the best one yet?
Madden NFL 26 Release Date
Madden NFL 26 drops worldwide on Aug. 14, with early access kicking in on Aug. 11 for those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition or grab the MVP Bundle. For the first time ever, the game will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, joining PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store).
This year, the MVP Bundle returns, pairing Madden NFL 26 with College Football 26 in a digital-only package. Priced at $149.99, it gives players three-day early access to both games and a load of bonus content. If you’re planning to play both titles, it’s probably the smartest move.
Included in the MVP Bundle are:
- 4600 Madden Points + 4600 College Football Points
- Ultimate Team™ and College Ultimate Team™ elite player items
- Dynasty and Road to Glory skill points
- Franchise Coach Ability Points
- Exclusive MUT and CUT items
And the “MVP On the Clock” Pack — available only if you pre-order by April 29.
What Do You Get for Pre-Ordering Madden NFL 26?
EA is rolling out three different editions this year: Standard, Deluxe, and the MVP Bundle.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Standard Edition: Includes the Cover Athlete Elite MUT item, XP Boost, and Coach Ability Points.
- Deluxe Edition: Provides 3-day early access (Aug. 11-14), 4600 Madden Points, solo challenge access, and several exclusive in-game items—provided you pre-order by July 24.
- MVP Bundle: Includes everything in the Deluxe Edition for both Madden and College Football 26.
Loyalty Offers and Other Details
Returning Madden players won’t be left out. If you’ve played Madden NFL 25, 24, or 23, you can unlock a 10% discount and a 99 OVR Player Pack by pre-ordering through the in-game menu.
College football fans also get the same loyalty perks. For eligible players who pre-order the MVP Bundle, EA is offering a 99 OVR item usable in College Football 25 and Madden NFL 25.
The trailer, titled “The Call,” hints at deeper integration between the two titles. It raises hopes that draft class imports may return, something fans have been demanding for years. EA hasn’t confirmed it yet, but optimism is growing.
All signs point to June for more news and a full reveal. Until then, all eyes are on EA—and what could be the most complete Madden in recent memory.
