To acquire Makai Lemon in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles traded up with the Dallas Cowboys.
Following the pick, Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons had the opportunity to interview Lemon and is being called out by Le’Veon Bell for his behavior.
Le’Veon Bell Calls Out Micah Parsons Over Makai Lemon Interview
In PFSN’s College Football Wide Receiver Impact Metric, Lemon ranked fourth with an impact score of 85.1 and a letter grade of B. He recorded 79 receptions for 1,156 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns while adding another two touchdowns as a rusher.
Across three seasons with the Trojans, Lemon recorded 137 receptions for 2,008 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. He is also a one-time All-American and the 2025 winner of the Biletnikoff Award, which is presented to college football’s best wide receiver.
Following the selection, Lemon talked to Parsons and said the following:
“To call Philly home, an especially great organization, I couldn’t even be more happy. I’m excited.”
Then Lemon stayed stoic the entire time Parsons laughed and responded with the following:
“Aye, congratulations, bro. You had me at everything except ‘the greatest organization’ bro I was trying to hold it (laughter) I was really trying to hold it.”

After seeing the clip online, Bell, the former Pittsburgh Steeler and New York Jet, said the following:
“I love Micah Parsons as a football player, GREAT player .. but I hate the way he handled interviewing that young wide out drafted to the eagles .. young man just happy to be drafted, that’s not the time to diss an organization .. bro not even a Cowboy anymore, it’s just lame.”

In response, Parsons posted the following rebuttal to Bell:
“I was speaking with Lefkoe! Lefkoe introduced the Eagles as the greatest organization in football! I’ve never handled any interview in that manner!”

As much as he wants to play it off, Parsons was definitely laughing at Lemon’s comment. Surely, it’s motivation that Lemon will draw on when the two NFC powerhouses face off.
