The Lamar Jackson-led Baltimore Ravens continue to fall just shy of reaching their ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl. Heartbreaking losses have derailed the team in the postseason, but the 2024 season felt like a golden opportunity for the group.
Jackson had arguably the best season of his career as a passer, while superstar offseason acquisition Derrick Henry was worth every penny spent on him. Then, their season ended heartbreakingly against the Buffalo Bills. Still, their superstar quarterback believes the dream isn’t far from becoming reality.

Can Lamar Jackson and the Ravens Win the Super Bowl?
Last season, the Ravens were an all-around excellent team. Boasting the second-best offense in the league, per PFSN’s Offense+ Metric, a slow start from the defense turned into an excellent season as they finished in the top 10 of the corresponding Defense+ metric as well.
Jackson had one of the best seasons of his career, especially as a passer, tallying career highs in passing yards (4,172), touchdowns (41), and a historic passer rating (119.6). Alongside him, Henry was a revelation at the running back spot.
For the second time in his career, Henry crossed the 1,900-yard mark, finishing with the second-most rushing yards in the league at 1,921, while adding a league-leading 16 touchdowns to Baltimore’s tally.
Still, a brutal offensive showing against the Bills in the Divisional Round, which included three turnovers and a costly drop on a 2-point conversion, signaled the end of the Ravens’ season. But Jackson hasn’t lost all hope yet.
Jackson Remains Confident in Ravens’ Championship Window
During an appearance on the Cold as Balls show alongside Kevin Hart, he reiterated his desire for a championship, while adding, “We’re extremely close. As I’ve been getting older in the league, my mindset is different, and the game has gotten a lot easier for me.”
With the numbers he’s putting up, it’s hard to argue with that assessment. But the playoff demons are something the former unanimous MVP needs to get off his back. After recording just four interceptions all season long, Jackson had two brutal mistakes in the game against the Bills.
The forced fumble could be summed up as an unfortunate mistake, but the interception was a head-scratcher from one of the most accurate and efficient orchestrators of the offense. For the Ravens to take that next step, Jackson is going to have to be better in the postseason.
This year, they’re walking into the AFC with a loaded Division and Conference against them. But after double-digit wins in six of their last seven seasons, it is high time that the Ravens win their third Super Bowl in franchise history.
