The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this season. The matchup will mark the first time that quarterback Matthew Stafford will visit London with his entire family.
Kelly Stafford Shares Excitement of Rams’ London Game
Stafford’s wife, Kelly, took to Instagram to share her excitement in bringing their four daughters to London for the first time. She posted an Instagram story with the poster from the game, with this caption, “LFG!!!!!!”

Kelly also asked for help from other mothers on how to manage their children on the long-distance flight. Flights from Los Angeles to London are approximately 11 hours and cover 5,440.87 miles
Kelly also posted, “Our girls and their first 12 hr flight phew. Will gladly take any tips y’all have for that!”
Matthew and Kelly have four daughters. Their twins, Sawyer and Chandler, recently turned eight. Hunter Stafford is turning seven, and the youngest, Tyler, will be five by the London game.
The October matchup will be Matthew’s first international game in 12 years. He last played overseas in 2014 when his Detroit Lions played in London.
In that game, Stafford led the Lions to a 22-21 comeback victory against the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium. Detroit was shut out in the first half and entered halftime down by three touchdowns. However, the Lions would storm back in the second half thanks to two Stafford touchdowns and three field goals from Matt Prater.
At the time of that game, Kelly and Matthew were not married. However, they tied the knot six months later on April 4, 2015.
Rams Have the Second-Most Distance To Travel in the 2025 Season
The trip to London will be the longest journey for the Rams, but that doesn’t necessarily make the rest of their schedule easier. Los Angeles will have to do the second-most traveling in the 2025 NFL season. The 34,832 miles they are scheduled to travel is only behind their stadium partners, the Los Angeles Chargers.
That said, the Rams might be able to cut down on that travel. Los Angeles plays the Ravens in Baltimore in Week 7. Instead of flying back to California following the game, just to fly to London for Week 8, the Rams could elect to stay on the East Coast for a few days.
Traveling from Baltimore to London cuts the flight to about 7 hours and 3,645 miles. The Rams must choose whether they would rather deal with an additional long flight, or an extra few days away from their homes in California.
