The closest any team has ever come to three-peating in the Super Bowl era still felt like a slight against the Kansas City Chiefs as they were routed 40-22 in Super Bowl 59. Now, the team has to reshuffle the deck and ensure it can sustain its excellence moving forward.
Already a busy offseason has seen veterans like Joe Thuney depart while making several additions to make the team younger. However, a major portion of their efforts to improve next season will come from the 2025 NFL Draft. Let’s see what Kansas City is doing in Lambeau Field in the latest mock draft from PFSN.

31) Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
Though they addressed the offensive line a bit in free agency, the Kansas City Chiefs would be smart to add insurance in case Jaylon Moore or Jawaan Taylor doesn’t work out at tackle.
Josh Conerly Jr. is one of the most athletic offensive linemen in the class. His quick feet and pad level make him a valuable pass protector and a coordinated run blocker on the move.
Their offensive line got exposed in the Super Bowl with Patrick Mahomes putting up a grand total of zero points in the first half. Add in the Thuney departure and their focus for the Draft should become crystal clear.
63) Wyatt Milum, OG, West Virginia
Kingsley Suamataia is slated to replace Joe Thuney at guard, but with the former’s shaky rookie season in 2024 and Trey Smith still not on a long-term deal, more offensive line could make sense early for the Chiefs.
A four-year collegiate starter, Wyatt Milum is a heavy-handed lineman with solid footwork in pass protection and precise strikes at the point of attack. Whether it’s at tackle or guard, he should be a solid starter in the league.
66) Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
Quinshon Judkins would be a strong addition to the Chiefs’ backfield, as he has the ball-carrier vision and big-play speed to make him a threat just about any time he touches the ball.
Isiah Pacheco severely regressed due to injuries and didn’t look like his former self upon returning. If he can find his footing, Kansas City is secure at the position, especially with Kareem Hunt returning.
But, Judkins could serve as the insurance policy after three consecutive years for the Buckeyes tallying over 1,000 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns on average.
95) Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee
An athletic 3-technique defensive tackle, Omarr Norman-Lott is one of the best interior pass rushers in the 2025 NFL Draft. With a low center of gravity, impressive hand usage, and a dynamic first step off the ball, he has the potential to be a fixture for an NFL defensive line for a long time.
Losing Tershawn Wharton was a blow, but the core of their defensive front should remain the same. This is an area where the Chiefs have excelled and adding another quality place in Norman-Lott should only help matters.
133) Jared Ivey, EDGE, Ole Miss
This is a position where the Chiefs already have two excellent contributors – George Karlaftis and Charles Omenihu. However, finding some depth beyond those two would give Steve Spagnuolo some versatility.
A potential starter-quality player, Jared Ivey can play both on the strong side or reduce the inside on passing downs. He should be immediately impactful, but he could very quickly turn into a capable starter for Kansas City.
226) Efton Chism III, WR, Eastern Washington
The Chiefs have struck gold in the past two drafts with their early wide receivers. Both Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy had exceptional rookie seasons. This time around, Kansas City adds to Patrick Mahomes’ arsenal of weapons far later in the form of Efton Chism III.
An outstanding route runner who had splendid production, Chism was a standout in a relatively small program, tallying 1,311 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2024. But, his production at the NFL level remains in question particularly due to a short and small frame.
251) Drew Kendall, C, Boston College
Drew Kendall might not be a starting-caliber center. But as a backup, he should suffice, given his brilliant screen game and quick feet. Instinctive and fundamentally sound, Kendall has a strong foundation to work with and could slot in as a right tackle or guard.
257) Arian Smith, WR, Georgia
The final pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, Arian Smith had a solid final year with Georgia, tallying 817 yards and four touchdowns. However, he serves as a true deep ball threat with impeccable speed, quite like Worthy in that regard.
His game expanded somewhat in his final collegiate year but his calling for the Chiefs might be as a vertical threat where he was effective throughout his tenure.
