Retiring in 2018, the NFL world knew it would only be a matter of time before Julius Peppers was honored again. It’s fitting Peppers is the only first-ballot Hall of Famer of the 2024 class, as he’s left his mark at every stop along the way.
Now, six years removed from the gridiron, is Peppers married or dating anyone? Here’s everything we know about Peppers’ love life.
Who Is Claudia Sampedro?
Born in Havana, Cuba, Claudia Sampedro moved to Miami, Florida, at age six. She attended Miami Senior High School, where she became interested in pursuing a career in modeling.

At 16, Sampedro was contacted by modeling agent and scout John Casablancas. She has appeared on the covers of numerous magazines. She is currently a reality TV personality and model and appeared on E!’s WAGS Miami reality series. Sampedro also studied cosmetology and worked for a plastic surgeon while in Miami.
How Did Peppers and Sampedro Meet?
Peppers and Sampedro started dating in 2014. While no one besides the couple and close friends knows precisely how they met, a mutual friend supposedly introduced them at a party.
Peppers and Sampedro both had children from previous relationships. The Hall of Famer had a son, Elijah, from his last relationship, while she had a daughter, Keena Skye.

In 2015, the couple had a son together, Amaresito. They got engaged in 2016 but have not gotten married as of 2024.
The two have brought their families together nicely as they continue their relationship. Sampedro was essential in helping the NFL Network and Pro Football Hall of Fame set up their surprise announcement to Peppers. Host Steve Wyche was in contact with the prolific defensive end’s wife as she set up the blocks to keep Peppers preoccupied.
While, just like his time in the league, he did his best to break through the protection, Sampedro was able to keep him in the backyard long enough for the NFL Network crew, Wyche, and legendary defensive lineman Bruce Smith to set up all the equipment and be there to give Peppers his “knock.”
From his playing days to the present day, these two are still going strong.
