‘Josh Allen’s MVP Run Is Over’ — NFL Fans Mock Bills QB After Buffalo’s Disastrous Loss vs. Dolphins

Bills QB Josh Allen faced heavy criticism after Buffalo’s costly loss to the Dolphins, with fans declaring his MVP campaign officially over.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills were favored in their Week 10 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, but instead of dominating, they lost 30-13. Allen didn’t play horribly, but he gave up two costly turnovers. His final stat line on the day was a 70% completion rate, 306 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 31 rushing yards, an interception, a fumble, and three sacks. The overall performance fell short of the MVP standard that many expected.

Before the game, Allen entered Week 10 with a 70.4% completion rate, 1,833 passing yards, 13 touchdown passes, and four interceptions. As a rusher, he came into the week with 280 yards on the ground, seven touchdowns, and four fumbles. The Bills now sit at 6-3, two games behind the New England Patriots, who are 8-2 and hold first place in the AFC East.

Fans did not hold back when it came to criticizing Allen’s performance.

Fans Mock Josh Allen in Loss to Miami Dolphins

To many, Sunday’s loss wasn’t just a bad outing; it also significantly hurt Allen’s chances of winning MVP.

“Can we finally put this fraudulent Josh Allen mvp narrative to rest,” one fan said.

The reigning MVP still possesses all the tools to defend his title; that hasn’t changed. But many fans believe his résumé this season doesn’t measure up, even with several weeks left to play. This particular comment was based on pre-final stats, which explains the slight differences from the final numbers.

“Josh Allen so trash idk how he won mvp last year and I don’t know how he is top 5 in the mvp race this year he’s so trash,” one said.

Allen fully earned last year’s MVP honors. He finished with 3,731 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and just six interceptions — the lowest of his career. On top of that, he added 531 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, making him the engine behind Buffalo’s 13-4 record.

Another fan said: “JOSH ALLEN AINT NO DAMN MVP!!!!!! HES WEAK AS HELL, CANT EVEN BEAT THE 2-7 DOLPHINS!!!! STOP COMPARING HIM TO LAMAR JACKSON!!!!!”

“Josh Allen MVP RUN IS OVER,” another commented.

“Ppl really said Josh Allen was the MVP after that Chiefs game last week. When in reality, he wasn’t even top 3,” another fan said.

While this was certainly a rough outing for Allen — and could hurt him in MVP voting — there’s still time left. If he catches fire over the next few weeks, he could easily climb back into the race.
