Starting quarterback Josh Allen tops the list after signing a contract extension for six years worth $330 million, with $250 million guaranteed (via OverTheCap). The reigning NFL MVP is tied to the franchise till 2031 with two void years after.
#2 – Dion Dawkins, Offensive Tackle ($19.80 million)
Offensive tackle Dion Dawkins has consistently performed at a high level, and the Bills rewarded him with a 3-year, $60 million extension last offseason. He has the highest base salary on the team at $11 million, and could be a candidate for a contract restructure if the Bills want to increase cap space.
#3 – Dawson Knox, Tight end ($14.57 million)
Tight end Dawson Knox reworked his contract last season, taking a pay cut for 2024, but received contract guarantees for the 2025 season. He would need to renegotiate in 2026, as his cap number increases again to $17 million. Knox could also be a candidate to be released next season with the emergence of Dalton Kincaid.

Matt Milano is one of the longest tenured Buffalo Bills players and the heart of the defense. He signed a contract extension in 2023, but has only played 12 games in the past two seasons due to injury.

Ed Oliver has been a mainstay in the Buffalo Bills’ defense since being drafted 9th overall in 2019. He is in the midst of a four-year, $68 million contract extension that he signed in 2023. Oliver has 25 career sacks in 85 games.

DaQuan Jones is one of the oldest players on the Bills roster, especially next season, with veterans Von Miller and Micah Hyde no longer with the team. Jones initially joined the two on a two-year contract in 2022, and followed that up with a two-year contract extension last offseason.

Connor McGovern is the Bills’ starting center, and he joined the team after four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2025 season. It should be noted that McGovern made his first Pro Bowl in 2024.
