“Indications” are that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been feeling better with two days of rest after tweaking his calf injury Sunday against Baltimore, according to a post on X from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
What Is Joe Burrow’s Status for Monday’s Game?
Burrow was walking through the locker room without a noticeable limp Monday and was not wearing a sleeve or anything else on his right calf, but head coach Zac Taylor said he was unsure of his quarterback’s status and was waiting to get information from team doctors and trainers.
A day earlier, Burrow sounded concerned the injury could be something he has to deal with the entire season.
"It's hard for me to say right now."

In a normal week, the Bengals would return to the practice field today, and there would be an injury report detailing whether Burrow was a full or limited participant or did not practice at all.
But because the Bengals are playing Monday night, it gives Burrow another day to rest the calf before the team holds its first practice of the week Thursday at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Taylor is scheduled to hold a news conference at 1 p.m. on Thursday, and Burrow’s weekly session will be after practice at about 3:30 p.m.
