Jimmy Horn Jr.’s NFL Draft Scouting Report

Jimmy Horn Jr. is an undersized receiver who has primarily operated from the slot in his career. He transferred from USF to Colorado after his sophomore year and has low college production totals.

He has never topped more than 600 yards in his career and had below 40 catches in three of four college seasons. Horn is a well below-average ball winner who struggles to win while the ball is in the air, in large part because he is not a physical player at the catch point, with a career 25.9% contested catch rate.

However, Horn is a crafty route runner who is quick off the line and can naturally create separation thanks to being an above-average athlete with excellent play speed.
