Jets vs. Raiders Best Touchdown Scorer Bets: Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, and One Long Shot

Our favorite Jets vs. Raiders touchdown scorer bets include two obvious names and one major long shot.

The New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders are featuring two backup quarterbacks in a game with the lowest total of the week, but somebody has to get into the end zone, right?

Unless you’re betting on the under in this game or are going against one of the notable players in fantasy, we’ll all be rooting for points to make this game more exciting, so let’s make some touchdown scorer bets.

Jets vs. Raiders Best Touchdown Scorer Bets

Breece Hall (+105 at DraftKings)

Soppe: The Jets have four wins this season, and three of them were against defenses that currently easily rank in the bottom quarter of the league in yards per carry. The exception was the win over the Eagles, which broke every spreadsheet I own and everything I think I know about the sport. Let’s write that off as an outlier.

The Raiders rank 27th in yards per carry allowed this season — struggles that we forecasted coming into this season, and continue to prevail despite the play of Maxx Crosby.

That 27th ranking is about as good as it gets for Vegas. They don’t rank any better than that in time of possession or red zone defense, signs that point to the Jets having more scoring equity than usual.

I’m in! Breece Hall has averaged 18 carries per game over the past month and this season when facing fewer opponents, leaving me with no doubt about his role. He has also found the end zone in each of New York’s past three victories – what’s the other option, trust Zach Wilson in scoring situations?

Garrett Wilson (+200 at FanDuel)

Blewis: I know, this requires Zach Wilson to throw a touchdown pass, but hear me out. Garrett Wilson’s red-zone target share leads all players in the NFL, and of the Jets pass catchers, the gap between him and the next closest player in Tyler Conklin is nearly 30%.

The Jets have just one passing touchdown in their last four games, so they’re most certainly due. At +200 odds, I think it’s worth a half-unit flier.

No Touchdown Scorer (+4000 at DraftKings)

Bearman: I already touted the under in this game as my favorite bet of the week, so why not embrace it? The Jets didn’t find the combo to the end zone lock last week (hat tip, Joe Buck), and the Raiders seem to only score against the Giants. So why not?!
