Chad Forbes compared Glenn’s situation to Jerod Mayo’s brief tenure with the Patriots, hinting that Glenn may also have a short stint after his toughest NFL defeat. The Jets’ defense allowed Maye to throw four touchdown passes at MetLife Stadium in the first half alone, contributing to a humiliating score of 35-3 at the end of the second quarter. Before calling in the reserves to play in the second half, the Patriots’ offense was averaging over 8.0 yards per play, gaining a total of 424 yards in just two quarters.
