Regina Jackson has been a constant presence in NFL quarterback Jayden Daniels’ life, and the Washington Commanders rookie thanked her for shaping him.
Daniels previously described her as the “heartbeat” of his success. She has been instrumental in helping him make the right decisions for his football career and shaping who he is today. A grateful Daniels wrote a public birthday message for his mother on Instagram.

He posted an Instagram story on his account @thatkidjayden dedicated to Regina. In the story, he included a photo from one of last year’s games where he went towards his mum, who had her arms out, ready to hug him.
He added, “Happy g day to the goat herself,” and two heart emojis accompanying the message.
The message was made public to his audience, which currently has over 1 million followers.
Regina Clarifies Stance on Her Son Daniel’s Dating
Regina has been by Daniels’ side since he became a public figure. She was involved during his college years at Arizona State and when he transferred to LSU. She was even mentioned in an investigation into Arizona State’s recruiting practices. She would show up even at practices and allegedly helped the school arrange unofficial visits for recruits during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is also actively involved in Daniels’ dating life. Jackson broke up a conversation between her son and USC basketball star Juju Watkins when the pair were getting cozy with each other at an NCAA basketball game during the NCAA tournament this year. She would slide in to sit between them, effectively ending the conversation.
However, Jackson has clarified that Daniels is free to date. She recently did an interview with former NFL cornerback Ryan Clark on ‘The Pivot’ podcast, and made it clear she is not standing in the way of Jayden Daniels and love.
“I’m putting it on record. My son can date, he can live freely, make his own decisions,” she said. “However, with the relationship we have, he does value my opinion because when my kids were little, I did a lot for them, and my kids saw that.”
However, you know Jackson will not be far behind whoever Daniels dates. She was tagging along with Daniels while he appeared to be on a date with an unidentified woman during the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend earlier this month.
