Jaxon Smith-Njigba Player Props, Betting Lines, Odds and Picks for Seahawks vs. Giants

Jaxon Smith-Njigba will try to have a good game in prime time. Let's look at his player prop numbers for tonight's Seahawks vs. Giants matchup.

Will this be the game that the Seattle Seahawks see the potential of Jaxon Smith-Njigba? The setting — Monday Night Football — is certainly perfect for a coming-out party. There’s one prop play that I think is a must to play if you’re following this rookie.

Smith-Njigba has had his yards per reception average increase with each game this season, from 4.3 to 6.8 to 10.0.

Smith-Njigba Best Bet

It hasn’t been the smoothest of starts to his NFL career for Smith-Njigba. Just nine total catches for 57 yards and zero touchdowns through three games is not what the Seahawks were hoping for when they made Smith-Njigba the first wide receiver selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

However, it feels as if it’s only a matter of time before he has a big moment or game for this team. So why not have it in prime time for a national television audience?

Unlike other rookie receivers like Zay Flowers or Jordan Addison, Smith-Njigba isn’t the first or second option at receiver for Seattle. So the possibility of him slipping through for a big play or two is legitimate. The Seahawks also have had injuries along the offensive line, which doesn’t allow for too many deep throws. Quarterback Geno Smith may be forced to deliver the ball quickly all night.

On the contrary, last week, Smith had an average of 3.2 seconds to throw, the second-highest average of all QBs in Week 3. Perhaps he is starting to find the time to hit his receivers. New York’s struggling pass rush may be more generous, too.

That should help Smith-Njigba, who was an intermediate threat back at Ohio State (16.9 yards per reception in 2021). With the odds in our favor, I’m going to take a chance on the rookie having at least one big moment tonight.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Best Bet: Over 15.5 yards for longest reception (-105 at DraftKings)
