Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce faces a lot of tough questions, whether it’s about his play on the field or spending time with his brother, Jason Kelce. Those who follow Travis closely online know that he and Jason team up for their weekly “New Heights” podcast and they cover everything from the NFL to pop culture.
Speaking of pop culture, it has made headlines around the world that Travis is engaged to his mega-pop superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift. It always raises some burning questions for anyone who follows his life.
What Did Jason Kelce Ask Travis Kelce?
The Kelce brothers recently sat down to take part in an interview. Also at the table with them were Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Reid and Mahomes looked pretty sharp in ties and jackets (in Reid’s case).
What about Travis? He decided to pop on a Hawaiian-type shirt and a nice hat. As Jason sat on one side of the table, those three were on the other side. Well, the questioning began and Jason was the one doling out questions.
He looked right at Travis and asked, “Trav, when’s the wedding?” Immediately, Travis started smiling and laughing, then simply said to his brother, “Shut the f**k up.”

Not only Jason and Travis cracked up, but Reid and Mahomes couldn’t contain their laughter, either. Travis and Swift shared photos on Instagram of their engagement, letting the world know that they were taking the next step in their relationship.
Travis, though, is pretty busy these days playing for the Chiefs. Travis is in his 13th season in the NFL, all with Kansas City. How is he doing so far in the 2025 NFL season? Travis has 15 receptions for 182 yards and one touchdown. He’ll be on the field as the Chiefs play Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars on “Monday Night Football.”
When it comes to Mahomes, he’s always looking to hook up with Travis downfield. The pairing has been quite good when they are on the same page. Jason is no longer playing after a 13-year career as a center with the Philadelphia Eagles.
One thing’s for sure. Travis and Jason have cornered the market on getting attention these days. Travis and Swift are a power couple that have done a good job at keeping most of their relationship out of the limelight. However, their wedding, if held publicly, could break records dating back to Princess Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles in terms of TV viewership.
