Former Philadelphia Eagles great Jason Kelce definitely remembers when his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, started dating pop music superstar Taylor Swift. With that next level of fame coming into the Kelce family from Swift, things changed a little bit all the way across the board.

For Jason, though, he watched how a different generation, made up of little girls, started watching Travis play football regularly for the Chiefs.
“Yeah, it was definitely gradual,” Jason said when he was a guest on “The Ross Tucker Podcast” on Tuesday. “And then it just like was a big flip obviously when Taylor and Travis started dating. And that led to a whole other demographic and fan base being interested, not just me, my entire family, right?”
“I went from very much being dominated by large fat men coming up to me and shaking my hand and thanking me for being an Eagle to little girls,” Jason continued. “It was quite a shift of people who became fans, you know. So, you know, I was actually, even when I wasn’t playing well in 2016, before that, I felt like a lot of Philadelphians.”

“Philadelphia’s a great city to play offensive line,” Jason said. “They really appreciate linemen, both offensive and defensive, like interior D-tackles and interior linemen.”

Jason was present when Travis and Taylor got married at Madison Square Garden in New York City. These days, Jason and Travis appear regularly on their “New Heights” podcast on Spotify and other podcast platforms.
On the podcast, the Kelce brothers not only talk about the NFL but also will bring up Swift in conversation, too.

Travis is coming back for another NFL season with the Chiefs, where he’s won Super Bowl championships with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. This, though, might be the final season with the Chiefs for him.
With a new wife around, Travis might just want to spend more time around her, whether at home or on the road with her concerts.
Don’t expect Jason to return to the NFL at all. It appears that he’s quite happy being retired from playing in the trenches for the Eagles.
