NFL Legend Jason Kelce Pens Heartfelt Message After Raising Over $1,000,000 for ‘The Eagles Autism Foundation’

Jason Kelce Goes All In—Literally—for the Eagles Autism Foundation and after helping to raise more than $1 million he shares his gratitude.

Jason Kelce retired from the NFL following the end of the 2023 season. The Philadelphia Eagles legend played 13 seasons in the league and is a future Hall of Famer.

Despite his retirement from the sport, Kelce is still quite involved in the Eagles organisation, and recently hosted a series of fan engagement events to raise $1 million for the Eagles Autism Foundation, which funds innovative research and drives scientific breakthroughs.

Jason Kelce Expresses Gratitude for “Most Successful Shore Birds” Event

Kelce loves a good time, and more so when it is for a good cause. He joined the Eagles Autism Foundation team at Ocean Drive in Sea Isle, New Jersey, to raise money and did everything possible to entertain the fans arriving at the event.

Sharing the details of his time in Sea Isle, Kelce wrote on X, “The last couple of days were intense, but by far our most successful Shore Birds event to date! Because of everyone’s efforts and support, we were able to achieve our goal of raising over 1 MILLION DOLLARS for The Eagles Autism Foundation.”

A series of events took place at the fundraiser, with Kelce also serving beers at one moment, and doing a full Monty in a Speedo in the next. However, “it started with a morning Yoga class on Wednesday on the beach with Kylie Kelce at Stride, All abilities clinics, and moments with kids at Excursion Park in the afternoon,” Kelce wrote. “And then a Ruckus guest bartending event at The Ocean Drive for an epic no-shower happy hour.

“On Thursday, we hosted the 3rd annual Beer Bowl at the Sea Isle Yacht club, where competitors competed in beer drinking games and water activities for a chance to win 50K. As always, Sea Isle City showed up and showed out. Tons of people came and spent their time and money in supporting this mission, and we couldn’t be more grateful to all of you who attended and made these events special!”

Kelce was joined by current and former Eagles stars, including Brandon Graham, who retired after winning Super Bowl 59 in February, Beau Allen, Hollis Thomas, and Cooper DeJean. He expressed gratitude to everyone for attending and helping the foundation achieve its goal of raising $1 million.

The cause is championed by the Eagles’ owner, Jeffrey Lurie, himself, and autism research is something close to his heart. He recently made a historic $50 million donation to establish the Lurie Autism Institute in partnership with Penn Medicine and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, aiming to better understand the condition and develop more effective ways to support those affected.

And Kelce, who spent his entire career with the Eagles, is more than happy to contribute to such initiatives with whatever he can.
