Taylor Swift’s appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast has become a cultural phenomenon. Over 975,000 people tuned in for its start, and the entire episode has delivered one memorable moment after another.
One of the biggest revelations came when Swift, who wasn’t a football fan before dating Travis, opened up about her complete transformation into a die-hard Chiefs supporter.

Swift talked about watching the NFL Draft and how excited she became during the event.
“Oh my god, I fell in love with it,” Swift said. “I became obsessed with it. I became a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy!'”
While Travis and Jason laughed at her enthusiasm, Swift explained how her friends reacted to this dramatic personality shift.
“And my friends were like, ‘What is, who bodysnatched you?'” Swift said. “‘This is, what do you mean, we drafted Xavier Worthy?'”
Travis confirmed just how deep Swift’s newfound passion runs. “I forget where I was, but you were the first person to tell me that we drafted (Worthy).”
“I was screeching,” Swift related. “No, I screeched. I couldn’t believe it. I was freaking out.”
The moment left Travis questioning what he was hearing. “I was like, is she right?” Travis intimated. “I had to look this up. She get the wrong information here? We traded up?”
Beyond the excitement of draft picks, Swift revealed how she’s been studying football’s technical aspects.
“We’re talking about a cover two, a cover four, zero cover, man cover,” Swift said while Travis pointed at her, confirming her new obsession. “Talking, we’re learning. I continue to learn. I’m not ready to be an analyst right now. But give me 16 months.”
