What is Jarrett Stidham’s Contract and Salary?

In March 2025, QB Stidham’s contract with the Broncos was set to expire. After coming to Denver in 2023, he signed a two-year, $10 million contract ($5M AAV) that expired in March. That’s when he had a decision to make: either re-sign with the Broncos or sign with the other team that was interested in him.

But Stidham and the Broncos agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal in 2025, which will end at the conclusion of the 2026-27 NFL season. With this contract, Stidham is earning an annual salary of $6 million. However, of his $12M contract, only $6,990,000 is guaranteed, along with a $3,000,000 signing bonus, per Spotrac.

Apart from this, he has cap hits of $4 million and $8 million for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, respectively. This looks massive for a veteran QB who hasn’t started a game since Week 18 of the 2023 season.

But the main reason behind the two-year $12 million contract might be the result of a rush of NFL teams wanting Stidham to be their backup QB.

According to multiple reports, including Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Patriots, who the Broncos are facing next, once pushed hard to bring Stidham back to Foxborough. The plan was simple. They wanted to slot him in as Drake Maye’s backup and stabilize the room at Gillette Stadium. But eventually, Stidham chose Denver.

Talking about his re-signing with the Denver team, Stidham said, “There are always opportunities out there and stuff, but I think at the end of the day, there was a combination of things that went into my decision to come back here.”

He added, “I believe in Sean [Payton], and Davis [Webb] and Joe [Lombardi], and our room, and being behind Bo and helping him grow. I take a lot of pride in that.”

Denver Broncos QB Stidham’s Net Worth and Career Earnings in 2026

Per reports, Stidham’s career earnings are around $19,121,112, which also includes incentives for important games. And his net worth is more than $13,664,452, according to Salary Sport.

However, just like anyone, Stidham’s net worth is not standing still and shows strong room for future growth. If he firmly establishes himself as the Broncos’ starting quarterback and plays well, the value of his next contract could rise significantly.

Beyond his salary, endorsement opportunities and business pursuits after his football career could further strengthen his overall financial position.
