Who Are Jalon Walker’s Siblings?

Jalon is the eldest son of Curtis and Sheka Walker and was born on February 24, 2004. He has a younger brother named Deuce who plays defensive back for the Georgia State Panthers.

Deuce played multiple sports, including track and field and basketball, at Salisbury High School. He was rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports and didn’t get much game time with the Panthers as a freshman in 2024, posting just three total tackles.

Deuce has played a pivotal role in where Jalon is today, and the 2025 NFL Draft prospect doesn’t shy away from giving him the flowers for that.

“To give credit where it’s due, I give credit to my younger brother,” Walker said. “We are very competitive, we are a very competitive household, and we fought to see who was first to the car, who could put the seatbelt on the fastest — it was crazy, the way we competed.”

Just like the competitive nature has helped Jalon, he suggested that Deuce also wants to be equally better than him.

“When he did good, I wanted to do better,” Walker said of the brothers’ ever-present competitiveness. “When I do good, he wants to do better. I just felt like that competitive edge that we had in the house, it was a healthy competitive edge. That’s how we play now — we play hard and physical and competitive.”

Both brothers play on the defense, like their father, who both played and coached it for decades. Jalon has admitted to fighting sometimes with Deuce, but noted that they would be friends again five minutes after the fight.

“Oh, most definitely. That’s brotherly love,” Walker said. “We would argue, and then five minutes later we would be back to being best friends.”

Like his brother, Walker attended Salisbury High School in North Carolina but was rated a five-star prospect by 247Sports. In the 2022 high school recruiting class, he was ranked as the No. 3 linebacker, the No. 2 prospect in North Carolina, and the No. 26 prospect nationally.

As a freshman, Walker primarily played as a reserve linebacker and participated on special teams in all 15 games. He went on to clinch a College Football Playoff National Championship with Georgia in a 65-7 victory over TCU.

As a sophomore the following year, Walker was a rotational linebacker. In 14 games, he went on to record five sacks, six tackles for loss, and 20 total tackles.

The 21-year-old had a phenomenal 2024 season, winning the Butkus Award. He led the Bulldogs in tackles for loss with 11 and sacks with 6.5. He also totaled 61 tackles, fourth-best on his team.

Finishing the season with 23 total pressures and 13 QB hurries, he is now poised to be a first-rounder at the 2025 NFL Draft. His brother, Deuce, would hope to be the same when he declares for the draft in the coming years.
