Jahmyr Gibbs’ Girlfriend Nicole Anderson Spelled Out ‘Record Breaker’ for Him

Gibbs, the former Alabama Crimson Tide RB, smashed records in his second season under head coach Dan Campbell. He became the first Lions player since Barry Sanders to lead the NFL in touchdowns (20) and set a franchise record for single-season touchdowns.

As Gibbs shined against the Vikings and broke records, his girlfriend, Nicole Anderson, made sure the Lions RB knew it. Anderson took to Instagram to share a heartwarming tribute, complete with a photo collage featuring Gibbs and a room decorated with the words “Record Breaker.” Have a look:

Gibbs’ girlfriend also turned heads with her game-day fashion. She wore a custom Lions jersey with Gibbs’ No. 26 and a bold “Gibbs” print on her jeans. Nicole also rocked a Sonic the Hedgehog necklace, a nod to her boyfriend’s blazing speed.

Apart from the franchise record, Gibbs also joined Sanders in an exclusive club as the only Lions player to score four touchdowns in a single game — fittingly, both feats came against the Vikings.

After the game, the Lions RB said, “Just being able to have a record close to Barry’s, or I broke it, but being in the same talk with him is just crazy.”

Detroit head coach Dan Campbell couldn’t agree more, calling Gibbs the team’s “X-factor.” “He was big, and I felt like he gained steam as the game went on. I thought he got better and better and better, and you could really feel it,” Campbell said.

The Vikings game was a slow start for Gibbs. He only had one yard on the first six carries — but the Georgia native exploded late in the first quarter with a 25-yard touchdown run that got the crowd going. His two fourth-quarter scores sealed the Lions’ victory, ending their regular season with a triumphant victory.

“We’re obviously having a better season this year, and I think everybody is still counting us out a little bit, so being able to shut them up a little bit feels good,” said the Lions RB.
Boasting a 15-2 record and sights set on a Super Bowl title, the Lions are brimming with confidence.
