One of the staples of Thanksgiving in America is seeing the Detroit Lions host a home game. This week will be no different, as the Lions are welcoming in the division rival Green Bay Packers for an important NFC North clash.
Part of the Lions hosting a Thanksgiving game is also hosting a halftime show. Rapper Jack Harlow performed in 2023, while country artist Shaboozey starred in 2024. This year, it will be Detroit rocker Jack White, formerly of the White Stripes. Ahead of the performance, let’s find out some more about White.
Is Jack White Married, Dating or Single?
White is currently married to fellow musician Olivia Jean. The two have been married since 2022, and both grew up in the Detroit area.
This is White’s third marriage. His first marriage was to Meg White, who was also his bandmate in the White Stripes. Jack and Meg met in high school and married in 1996, with Jack deciding to take Meg’s last name. The following year, in 1997, the Whites founded the White Stripes.
Jack and Meg’s marriage only lasted until 2000, but the duo kept performing and touring together as the White Stripes until disbanding in 2011.
After his divorce from Meg, Jack briefly dated actress Renee Zellweger after the pair met while filming “Cold Mountain.” Jack married English singer-songwriter Karen Elson in 2005, and Meg was included as the maid of honor in the wedding. White and Elson had two kids together before divorcing in 2013.
Since then, White has been involved with Jean, and the pair have now been married for three years.
Who is Olivia Jean?
White and Jean first met at a The Dead Weather concert in 2009. Jean was a founding member of the all-female gothic rock band the Black Belles. Following the band’s hiatus in 2012, Jean has continued working as a solo artist and as a session musician.
As a session musician, Jean has collaborated with artists such as the previously mentioned Elson, her husband, Jack, and Wanda Jackson.

In 2022, Jean was the opener for White at his show at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. White brought Jean out and proposed to her during the concert, and the pair were immediately married on stage. White’s mother and Jean’s father joined the pair on stage for the incredible moment.
Upon being married, the couple moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where they currently reside with Jack’s two children from his previous marriage to Elson.
