Isaiah Bond’s NFL Draft Scouting Report

Isaiah Bond is an explosive wide receiver with game-breaking speed and the ability to stretch the field vertically or create separation underneath. He accelerates quickly off the line and is a threat to score any time he touches the ball, especially on deep routes and screens.

Bond has smooth footwork, sharp route-running instincts, and shows flashes of tracking the ball well over the shoulder. He’s also a dangerous returner, adding special teams value.

However, his route tree is still developing, and he can struggle against physical corners at the line of scrimmage. Adding strength and refining his timing will elevate his game. There are also off-field concerns that make him a wild card in terms of where could be selected.

Where Does Isaiah Bond Rank Among 2025’s WR Prospects?

Here are the top 10 WR rankings for the 2025 NFL Draft, according to PFSN Draft Analyst Ian Cummings:

    10. Kyle Williams, Washington State
    9. Jayden Higgins, Iowa State
    8. Tre Harris, Ole Miss
    7. Jaylin Noel, Iowa State
    6. Luther Burden III, Missouri
    5. Jalen Royals, Utah State
    4. Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona
    3. Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
    2. Matthew Golden, Texas
    1. Travis Hunter, Colorado

Bond does not fall into Cummings’ top 10 rankings.

His 4.39-second 40-yard dash fell significantly short of the record he publicly announced he would break, but Bond is still an impressive athlete with tremendous speed nonetheless.

Those who turn on the tape will find themselves impressed with how easily Bond moves in space. His deep speed is top-notch, maximizing it with a quick first few steps off the line of scrimmage.

Some wide receivers who are fast in a straight line can’t change directions all that well. That archetype certainly doesn’t apply to Bond, as he’s a dynamic runner with the ball in his hands who maintains his momentum and speed very well when changing direction.

Concerns surrounding Bond include his average collegiate production, as he never really put up great numbers at either Alabama or Texas. He’s also a smaller receiver who’s skinny and lacks in the play strength department.
