Isaiah World’s NFL Draft Potential

Isaiah World joined the Oregon Ducks as a high-profile transfer from the Nevada Wolfpack, and he’s since integrated seamlessly into the Ducks’ lineup at OT. At 6’5″, 320 pounds, with near-35″ arms, he fits the domineering size profile to earn the allure of NFL teams, and his explosive athleticism also pops off the game film.

World can cover massive amounts of ground as a puller and second-level climber, and that explosion combined with his length and mass can amount to insane amounts of force and point-of-contact power. He’s built to drive defenders out of lanes and incite fear in gap approaches, and he relishes his role, too. World is an absolute mauler and a taunting presence, and while his discipline can get the best of him at times, his tone-setting ability can be a big plus.

As a pass protector, World still has a lot of refinement left to undergo. His leveraging can be inconsistent, and he’ll over-extend and bend at the waist on engagement at times, sourcing instability and collapses in composure. Still, the tools are nearly unmatched in the 2026 NFL Draft class, and his floor is high enough as a run blocker that coaches will be lining up to mold him into a blue-chip starter.

CFB Week 9 Update

The Wisconsin offense was cornered in Week 9, and Isaiah World was one such blocker who relished the chance to impose his will in the run game, in adverse weather conditions. World’s size and explosiveness help him immensely with power generation off the snap, and he also has the range and angle IQ to track across the formation and reach landmarks with efficiency.

In a modern NFL where ball control is rising to the forefront, World’s ability to outmatch and overwhelm at contact, and his ability to reach pulling and second-level landmarks with ease, should secure his early-round standing.

CFB Week 10 Update

Oregon was on a bye in Week 10, but the Ducks will return to action in Week 11 against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Hawkeyes’ passing game won’t stress Oregon’s secondary, but the Ducks will be forced to play fast and physical downhill against the run, and they’ll be tested in the trenches on both sides of the ball by Iowa’s tough, well-coached, and NFL talent-laden fronts.

CFB Week 11 Update

World’s profile as a prospect is fairly clear at this point. He’s arguably more talented than any lineman in the class, with logic-defying attack explosiveness and quickness out of his stance for a 320-pound blocker. With his burst, length, mass, and physicality, he can overwhelm opponents — but he’s also very inconsistent with his overall operation, hand placement, and leverage maintenance.

All of those qualities — good and bad — showed up against a well-coached Iowa squad this past week. World will need to keep refining his technique at the NFL level, but his foundation is worth the investment at the right price.

CFB Week 12 Update

World did his part to help stave off a talented Golden Gophers rush in Week 12 and keep Dante Moore clean in the pocket. When he lined up against Anthony Smith, he was — more often than not — able to outmuscle Smith and stall out Smith’s power with his raw strength alone. On one such occasion, World took Smith’s hands away from him very early in the rep with a violent snatch.

World’s leveraging still needs major work, he’s still relatively rudimentary with his hands, and his lack of flexibility shows up at times — but his hyper-elite explosiveness and power in the run game, combined with his ultra-imposing profile as a sentry on the edge in pass protection, insulate his stock as an early-round 2026 NFL Draft prospect.

Where Is World Being Selected Most Often in the PFSN Mock Draft Simulator?

World currently holds the No. 24 overall rank among prospects, placing him among the first-round caliber prospects. His most recent Average Draft Position (ADP) of 24.5 as of November 19 reflects that he is typically being selected in the first round.

This small gap between rank and ADP suggests he’s consistently valued among evaluators, even amid fluctuations in player evaluations at this stage of the draft cycle.

Users controlling the Seattle Seahawks have been the team that selected World the most frequently over the past week, accounting for 4.0% of their picks across all seven rounds. Notably, 15.0% of the Seattle Seahawks’ first-round selections over that same period were used on World, underscoring users’ strong preference for him as a potential immediate-impact offensive tackle.
