Who Are Isaiah Bond’s Parents?

Bond was born on March 15, 2004, in Hamilton, Georgia. His mother is Penny Bond, while information about his father isn’t publicly available.

Penny is from Harlem and attended Brooklyn Technical High School. She completed her higher education at Montclair State University and Troy University.

Penny has played an instrumental role in Bond’s career, and the receiver has called her his greatest support system. Bond also revealed in an interview last year that he looks to his mom to tell him whether he’s done well or not, and that no matter how the game goes, she always pushes him to improve.

“Definitely, my mom. Good game, bad game, she going to tell me bad air game. She’s always like that since I was a little kid. I could break a record, and she’ll be like, ‘What we going to do now’?

“So, I probably say my mom has been my greatest support. Even when I have a great day, ‘Let’s do it again,’ or even if I have a bad day, ‘What do you do wrong? How can we fix this stuff?’ So, my mom has definitely been a great support system,” he said.

Information about Bond’s siblings is also not public, but according to 247 Sports, he has a brother.

Bond’s Draft Projection and Scouting Report

Here’s what PFSN analyst Jacob Infante wrote in his scouting report on Bond.

“His 4.39-second 40-yard dash fell significantly short of the record he publicly announced he would break, but Bond is still an impressive athlete with tremendous speed.

“Those who turn on the tape will find themselves impressed with how easily Bond moves in space. His deep speed is top-notch, maximizing it with a quick first few steps off the line of scrimmage.

“Some wide receivers who are fast in a straight line can’t change directions all that well. That archetype certainly doesn’t apply to Bond, as he’s a dynamic runner with the ball in his hands who maintains his momentum and speed very well when changing direction.

“Concerns surrounding Bond include his average collegiate production, as he never really put up great numbers at either Alabama or Texas. He’s also a smaller receiver who’s skinny and lacks in the play strength department.

“In all, Bond projects best as a second-round talent in the 2025 NFL Draft. He has his physical limitations, which could end up limiting his ceiling a bit in the pros. That said, he should grow into becoming a high-end complementary starting speed receiver.”
