Seattle Seahawks owner Jody Allen has been operating the team since her brother, Paul Allen, died in 2018. Allen serves in her role as part of the Paul G. Allen Estate, under whose leadership the team falls.
Jody Allen has been an integral part of the Seahawks’ success, being able to watch as the team advances to Super Bowl 60, where Seattle will play the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday.
How Old Is Seahawks Owner Jody Allen?
While she has a lot to celebrate with Seattle, under the leadership of head coach Mike Macdonald and quarterback Sam Darnold, Jody also took time out during Super Bowl Week for another celebration.
Jody celebrated her 67th birthday on Tuesday, Feb. 3. According to her profile from the Seahawks’ website, Jody is also chair of Vale Group, which she co-founded with her brother in 1986. Also, Jody played a significant role in developing Lumen Field, the current home of the Seahawks, and the Lumen Field Event Center.
Additionally, Jody had a role in the development of the Moda Center, where the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers play their games. Jody also is chair for the Trail Blazers’ organization, too.

Among Jody’s other ventures are being co-founder, board chair, and president of Allen Family Philanthropies; a founding director of MoPOP, which is Seattle’s museum of popular culture; and a co-founder and board member of the Allen Institute, which looks to solve some of bioscience’s big mysteries.
As the Seahawks prepare to play in Super Bowl 60, Jody will be watching from the owner’s box, hoping to see Seattle bring home another Super Bowl championship. Lately, Jody has been in the news about potentially selling the franchise. But there’s no indication that Jody is ready to do just that at this moment.
Still, it’s hard not to believe that Jody doesn’t feel an immense sense of pride when looking down on the field and seeing the Seahawks battle against the Patriots. Somewhere, too, her brother will probably be in her mind and heart as well.
Jody has stepped into her role with the organization and has been able to see the franchise improve over time. She’s also been down on the field at times, too, when Seattle is closing in on a victory. Maybe she’ll make another journey to the field on Sunday, but look to hold the Vince Lombardi Trophy high in the air.
