How Old Is Arch Manning? Here’s the Texas QB’s Age, Birthday, Years in College, and More

For Arch Manning, the National Football League could be the next stop. As the Texas quarterback’s name gains traction with NFL fans, curiosity about him continues to grow.

How old is he? What’s his connection to the Manning dynasty? And what else should you know? Here’s a breakdown.

What To Know About Arch Manning

Born in 2004, Manning is 21 years old. He celebrated his birthday on April 27, during the 2025 NFL Draft weekend.

He’s the son of Cooper Manning and the nephew of former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Arch enters his third season at Texas after a 10-game campaign in 2024.

As a freshman, he played in just two games, completing two of five passes for 30 yards. In his sophomore season, he threw for nine touchdowns, two interceptions, and completed 67.8% of his passes. He also showed flashes as a runner, scrambling 25 times for 108 yards and four touchdowns.

Arch Manning Faces a Crucial 2025 Season

Arch enters a pivotal season where his play style may begin to take shape. He’s shown glimpses of both arm talent and scrambling ability, but 2025 will offer a clearer picture of what kind of quarterback he can be.

If he remains steady but doesn’t break out, it may suggest he’s not quite on the same path as Peyton or Eli. But if he takes a step forward — either as a passer, a runner, or both — the hype could reach a level not seen since Shedeur Sanders.

Of course, with the 2025 NFL Draft now in the rearview and Sanders’ slide on draft day still fresh, fans and analysts may want to keep their expectations in check.

Should Arch struggle or plateau this season, a fourth year in college could be in the cards. A fifth season wouldn’t be out of the question either, depending on how things unfold.

There’s also a slim chance that, if his junior season doesn’t go well, he could enter the transfer portal. Still, at this point, there’s more reason for optimism than concern.

Will Arch become the face of college football this fall? Or will he fall short of expectations? Only time will tell.

Arch’s 2025 season could define his future. With high expectations and a famous last name, all eyes are on how he responds. Whether he takes a leap, treads water, or regresses, his path to the NFL will come into sharper focus. This year may shape the Manning legacy’s next chapter.
