Trying to bounce back from a gut-wrenching loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Arizona Cardinals are pulling out all the stops when they host the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 4.
With their opponents coming in with a two-game win streak, the Cardinals will be looking to turn the tide. Debuting their brand-new rivalries uniform, the stage is going to be set for Thursday Night Football in spectacular fashion.
However, the uniforms will not only add to the experience. The prime-time matchup between the two teams will also feature a special halftime performance. Bringing in one of the biggest stars in music today, Arizona is leaving no stone unturned to make the debut of their new jersey a memorable night.
Who Is Performing During Halftime of Cardinals-Seahawks?
A heartbreaking loss to the 49ers put a dent in the Cardinals’ momentum after starting the season 2-0. Add in the injury to star running back James Conner, and the organization needs something to tether itself to.
As a result, the timing for a prime-time home game where they debut their new jerseys could not have come at a more opportune moment. The new uniform is supposed to mirror the harshness of the desert heat and the shards of sand in a storm, alongside the tan, red, and copper that echo both the Desert Cardinal and the commerce that helped build the state.

It has a few special calls to its location as well, with the state flag returning to the jersey through an outline of Arizona. Additionally, the helmet is a sandblasted matte, with a 3D birdhead logo featuring a copper beak.
As part of the halftime performance, State Farm Stadium will hold a performance from Lil Jon. The creator of the eight-time platinum certified “Turn Down For What,” he is credited as one of the progenitors of the club-oriented hip-hop subgenre crunk.
With superhit albums like “Kings of Crunk,” “Crunk Juice,” and “Put Yo Hood Up,” expect the Cardinals’ fan base to turn into a rowdy bunch with the 54-year-old in attendance. The Grammy Award winner is joining a star-studded cast of experiences for the public.
The game will also see Maelyn Jarmon, the winner of Season 16 of “The Voice,” sing the national anthem before kickoff. Additionally, with the new jerseys, the team is planning a wonderful welcome for its squad.
As a result, former WWE and current AEW ring announcer Justin Roberts will be a special guest announcer for the evening. The action on the gridiron begins at 8:15 p.m. ET, but fans can expect an excellent showing even before kickoff.
