A 4-0 start has cemented the Buffalo Bills at the top of the AFC and as one of just two teams to go unbeaten through four weeks alongside the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.
But their record has a caveat, as the team hasn’t faced a true top-flight opponent except for the Baltimore Ravens in the season opener. That’s why Week 5 offers a truly tough challenge when they face off against a divisional opponent in the New England Patriots.
In the final season that the franchise plays at Highmark Stadium, the Bills are making sure to add extra elements to make the games even more special. This Sunday, the team debuts its brand-new all-white Nike Rivalry uniform, with fans urged to wear all white for a complete whiteout. However, that isn’t all that those in attendance in Buffalo will be treated to.

Halftime Show for Bills vs. Patriots
The whiteout, along with the new jerseys that ditch all of the red tints, is supposed to be a tribute to the harsh cold of a Buffalo winter. Going a step further, the game is also going to include a special national anthem performance.
Selecting Cami Clune was a smart choice from the organization. Fresh off finishing as a finalist on The Voice, Clune is fresh in everyone’s minds, and her connections to Buffalo make her an ideal choice for the role.
However, Clune’s performance isn’t the only highlight that fans can expect in Highmark Stadium. The game is also going to feature a wholly unique Halftime show. Rather than going for a music or art performance, the theme for sports is going to continue.
As an official press release on the Bills website declared, fans will be treated to a rare exhibition game between the U.S. Women’s National Flag Football Team and the Canadian Women’s National Flag Football Team. Additionally, their participation won’t be limited to just the exhibition contest itself.
“Prior to kickoff of the Bills vs. Patriots game, the Women’s National Flag Teams will join the Bills Alumni for a celebratory tailgate party in the “Billevard” before heading to the Highmark Stadium field to view Bills pre-game warmups and participate in Bills player introductions by holding the Bills introduction banners on the field during the announcement of the starting lineup.”
The competition is about as high as it can get for fans in Buffalo. According to the International Federation of American Football, the U.S. team comes into the game ranked first among all nations, while Canada isn’t far behind at number six.
Not only could it serve to spread the competition in front of a new audience, but it also serves as a precursor to 2028, when flag football makes its Olympic debut during the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
