A rare doubleheader on Monday Night Football means fans are going to be treated to two desperate teams in the AFC going at it.
While the New York Jets battle the Miami Dolphins as both teams try to register their first win of the season, the story is a little different for the latter game. Neither team, three weeks into the regular season, is happy about where it stands.
For the Bengals, an injury to Joe Burrow that could keep him out for three months has put the entire season in jeopardy. On the other hand, the Broncos have not taken that jump and become a true contender in the conference.
As they try to steady the ship against a wounded Cincinnati team at home, they have a special evening planned at Empower Field in Mile High to get things rolling.
Halftime Show for Bengals vs. Broncos
After making the playoffs for the first time since Peyton Manning stood under center for them, Denver understandably had high hopes entering the 2025 campaign. The defense, which was arguably the best all-around unit in the league last season, seemed like a guarantee to be stifling again.
Meanwhile, an offense that thrived while being led by a rookie quarterback in Bo Nix would presumably only get better, especially with a plethora of additions to alleviate the pressure on him. However, through three weeks, that vision hasn’t come to reality.
Falling to 1-2, Denver has been in close battles each week. Despite losing each game in the waning moments, their performance throughout the season has been uninspiring, to say the least.
When they host the Bengals, the franchise has to be hoping to turn things around and reach .500 on the year. In addition to the game itself at Empower Field, fans are going to be treated to a ton of entertainment to get them pumped up about the season.
That includes a special national anthem performance from Denver’s very own Kayla Ruby, as she brings her brand of country music to the gridiron. Going a step further, they even have a unique halftime show planned to keep the entire crowd involved.
Even though they haven’t shared a ton of details about it on their official website, the Broncos are describing their halftime show for the game as a “Toddler & Puppy Races.”
As they try to keep the hometown crowd’s energy high, Denver is hoping a major turnaround for the season begins tonight.
