While Josh Allen was busy carving up the Jaguars’ defense to power the Bills to a dramatic 27-24 playoff win, Hailee Steinfeld was commanding attention on an entirely different stage. As Allen delivered in crunch time on the road, Steinfeld stepped onto the Golden Globes red carpet and quickly became one of the night’s most talked-about stars.
Hailee Steinfeld Embraced Motherhood at the Golden Globes
Steinfeld made a statement the moment she stepped onto the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes, even without her husband by her side.
The actress arrived solo at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Jan. 11, turning heads in a peach-colored, floor-length gown adorned with Repossi Desert diamonds, an elegant look that balanced glamour with subtle sophistication. And she carried the dress to perfection while elegantly flaunting her baby bump, embracing the new phase of her life.
But the evening also doubled as a celebration of motherhood. Steinfeld, who is expecting her first child with Allen, wasn’t the only actress embracing pregnancy on the carpet. Her Sinners co-star Wunmi Mosaku proudly debuted her baby bump in a flowing yellow gown, later explaining that she wanted to get ahead of speculation and simply show up as herself.
While she was attending one of Hollywood’s biggest nights, the Bills quarterback was across the country leading his team in a high-stakes AFC wild-card matchup. And Allen delivered in a major way. He scored a late touchdown to secure a dramatic 27-24 road victory. It was Buffalo’s first playoff win away from home in more than 30 years.
Despite the distance, Steinfeld was very much representing her own winning team. She was among the presenters at the ceremony, where her film Sinners emerged as one of the most-nominated projects of the night, earning seven Golden Globe nods, including Best Motion Picture: Drama and a Best Actor nomination for Michael B. Jordan.
Although Allen couldn’t watch the red carpet live, he didn’t miss the moment entirely. After the Bills’ win, the reigning NFL MVP made his feelings about his wife’s Golden Globes look crystal clear, posting an Instagram story with heart-eyes and drooling emojis.
With Buffalo now advancing to the Divisional Round and no major awards shows looming next weekend, there’s a strong chance Steinfeld will be back in the stands for Allen’s next playoff test.
For now, the couple managed to dominate their respective stages on the same day. It was another day for the couple to take home their respective wins.
